Universities present great investment opportunities.
Britons thinking of buying
investment property with the intention of renting it out to students have been advised to monitor the performances of various universities.
Jonathan Moore, director of Easyroommate.co.uk, explained that there is plenty to gain from owning homes close to education institutions.
He noted that it is not only UK-based students who contribute to the success and reputation of a centre, as foreign learners can often bring more money to the area.
"Universities that are still able to attract foreign students will undoubtedly provide excellent investment options for investors, so it's well worth monitoring courses in towns and cities that offer these," Mr Moore stated.
Stuart Cook, acquisitions manager at Freshstartliving.com, also recently backed the idea of investing in areas around universities.
He suggested that good transport links between a home and a university are one of the key factors to ensure are in place when buying investment property for students.
